Our trained and enthusiastic nursing staff are available 24 hours a day.

The nursing staff are also qualified pet health and bereavement counsellors. You can call upon them at any time to advise you on all sorts of health issues and they regularly hold free healthcare clinics.

We have an on-site laboratory to provide rapid and accurate diagnoses in a matter of minutes, if required. This includes pre- anaesthesia testing, virus testing, pre-mating and pregnancy tests as well as a host of routine biochemical, haematological and cytological tests.

Masefield offers quality X-ray and ultrasound with flexible and

rigid endoscopy in the diagnostic imaging suite. This fully-equipped diagnostic suite can be used for anything from, for example, the removal of socks from the stomach of a rather greedy dog through to intricate diagnostic work in a cat’s lungs. The joy of using such techniques is their minimally invasive nature for the animal allowing rapid recovery.

We offer the latest and safest anaesthesia techniques, controlled with gas analysis, pulse oximetry and ECG.

Masefield has a full Dentistry suite for routine and more advanced oral care.

We undertake microchipping, export health certification and pet travel scheme documentation.

Additionally, we provide:
